MAKS ROBINIK VON ROTTENFELD
Maks Robinik von Rottenfeld is entrepreneur, innovator and researcher with an innate sense for product and technological innovation. His passion is not only the research and development of design and technologically advanced and perfected products for spearfishing and free diving, but also the planning and execution of specific, down-to-the-last detail thought-out and customized production processes, resulting in the creation of his unique products.
Maks is chief development and research engineer and co-founder of the internationally recognised Kraken brand, which, among other things, particu- larly prides itself on a versatile offer of design and technically perfected carbon fins with integrated graphics adapted to the needs of demanding users as well as high-quality shafts with laser-engraved technical details.
He is an enthusiastic and versatile sportsman and, of course, a passionate spear fisherman too. As a person with a distinctly positive attitude, he is deeply committed to a healthy lifestyle and coexistence with nature. As a conscious individual, he firmly believes that by striving for sustainable fishing practices, he can contribute to better care for cleaner oceans and preserving all the beauty and amenities of our paradise planet.
He has collaborated with the most prominent company names in the underwater world and developed for them some excellent products, such as spear guns, carbon fins and shafts. Worth mentioning among his most successful designs are the collections of Phantom spear guns (Mares), Stingray carbon fins (Omer), SK 40 carbon spear guns and Umberto Pelizzari carbon fins (Sporasub), as well as the collection of Gara Modular carbon mimetic fins (Cressi).
